摘要：矿物药是传统中药的特色组成部分，疗效广泛，历史久远。
其中不少矿物药对腹泻有显著的治疗效果，但相关研究不多。
因此，笔者整理总结了近三十年来具有止泻作用的传统矿物药，对其药理作用及临床应用作一综述，为临床止泻用药提供参考，促进传统矿物类中药资源的开发与利用。

如排液状便，每日３次以上，或每天粪便总量大于200g，其中粪便含水量大于80%，则可认为是腹泻[1]。
中国历代医家对腹泻具有较为详细的论述。
泄泻之名首载于《素问生气通天论》，以泄称之，有儒泄，洞泄，注泄，飱泄等。
宋陈无择《三因极一病证方论泄泻叙论》云方书所载泻利，与经中所谓洞泄、哈泄、澹泄、濡泄、水谷注下等，其实一也。
指出本病名称虽多,但都不离泄泻二字[2]。
矿物药作为近几年发展较为快速的特色中药，在治疗腹泻这一方面也具有较大的前景。
